Naturopathic Medicine Dr. Lynn Mikel is located south of Seattle in Des Moines, Washington. She has a private practice in Naturopathic Medicine and is dedicated to providing holistic care to her patients. Dr. Mikel has an extensive background in the medical sciences, psychology, and counseling and uses that previous experience and training to enhance her work as a physician. Her background and interest help her with successful outcomes balancing nervous system and endocrine system challenges. She specializes in using homeopathy, herbal medicine, nutritional therapies, education, and counseling to help people find balance and health.

Dr. Lynn Mikel graduated from Bastyr University in the Spring of 2002. Her desire was to have a solo practice in which she could integrate her medical education with past experience and training. She saw a need for more alternative doctors in areas surrounding Seattle. She grew up in Des Moines and graduated from Mount Rainier highschool in 1975. Des Moines seemed a natural place to return. 22015 Marine View Dr. was originally a sea captain's home. Dr. Mikel has the upstairs area and has created an atmosphere complimenting the history of the building, as well as creating a space that supports relaxation, communication and receptivity to getting well.

Dr. Mikel is passionate about personal growth and transformation. Her intention is to help others find health physically, emotionally and spiritually. From her own experience she realizes this is a process. When a person begins to take responsibility for their own health and participate in the changes required, true healing can begin. She is committed to supporting people in this process. Her role serves as a resource and ally in their search for health, offering guidance for change as well as bringing meaning and encouragement along the way.
